the Music Ministry
The music program at Dayton Presbyterian Church consists of both the Dayton Ringers (handbell choir) and the adult Sanctuary Choir. We have a three octave handbell set that is rung by our ringers once a month. Our Sanctuary choir provides music at every 10:00am service on Sundays as well as special services during the year. Both rehearse weekly on Wednesday nights and both provide vital aspects of the weekly worship service. Both choirs learn technique in healthy ringing and singing as well as learn repertoire that spans from classical to contemporary. New in the Fall of 2011, the Dayton Church Children's Choir (known as DC3) invites children to come and sing every fifth Sunday of the year. Whether you can read music or have never seen it at all, you are welcome to join our choirs! Please contact the music director for more details!
